Pre-Production Manufacturing Readiness Review
A decision gate before tooling, supplier lock-in, or geometry freeze.
Intro
If you’re 2–6 weeks from an irreversible commit, Morfi Review exists to answer one question:
Are you actually ready to proceed — or are you about to hard-wire expensive failure into the product?
This is not design execution.
It is a short, structured review that surfaces manufacturing and assembly risks while you still have time to fix them.
Best fit for
- Hardware teams approaching tooling / production spend
- Products with CAD largely stable and a working BOM (even if rough)
- Teams with uneven internal confidence or unresolved disagreements
- Situations where the cost of being wrong is material (cash, time, credibility)
Not a fit if
- Concepts are still moving
- Manufacturing approach is undefined
- You want additional CAD capacity or development partner
Outcome
You leave with a ranked risk register, a traffic-light readiness verdict, and a clear proceed / pause / redesign recommendation—written so a VP Eng, COO, or investor can act on it.
Typical fee: £7,500–£12,000 (scope-dependent)
